Hey nerds. I had to hit two parties tonight with my friend Honor
and now I am somewhat pooped. I know, I know…it’s mad early
but I am kinda tired.

We went to a Sir Drake Clothing party at Blue & Cream over on
Bowery first and that was sweet. The owners of the Sir Drake
line are awesome and so easy to talk to, really down to earth
which is just my style. They had an open Svedka vodka bar
and this kept everyone in attendance with a smile on their face.

After that event we headed over to the W Hotel Downtown for
the JCReport.com launch party thrown by “JC” himself, Mr. Jason
Campbell. He is not only a great party host, but also a very charismatic
young man. He made me feel welcome and is very photogenic.
The crowd was young and beautiful and all very easy going and
engaging. I really enjoyed talking to everyone and taking the photos
for this well put together event. I even got a ton of GURU energy

Tonight I went to the Edison Ballroom with Honor for a T-Mobile party. The Edison Ballroom is a part of the Edison Hotel, formally known as the Supper Club. We get to the door and I realize that Roland is at the door. Ha. This tells me that this party is probably gunna be dope. We go in and the place is blasting with hiphop tunes and filling with more and more people. Kid Cudi performed and made me dance and stuff. The open bar was awesome and it was truly an open bar and there was more food than you can even imagine. They were making actual omelettes and had actual waffles! haha. They had sliders and bacon on buns too. HAHAHA. It was crazy, but Honor was in heaven (he loves bacon). I ran into my friend Damien Scott and that was cool because I hadn’t seen him in about a year. he is doing well, landed a job as a staff writer for COMPLEX magazine. I’m really happy for him. It’s awesome.

Honor kept getting me drinks so I’m a little tipsy, but not drunk. I have to go now because I have to be up by 8:30 for work, but I will have photos up tomorrow.

hey nerds. so this is one night that i think i need to get to sleep
somewhat early. i am pooped. i mean seriously pooped. haha.
poop is fun. but yeah, i have been running around like a mad man
recently. from charity events to meetings about the parties i host..
everything seems to be coming all at once and i fear i am stretching
myself thin. i am having fun, but i feel like i am just trying to do too
much maybe. haha. i think i’m superman sometimes and well, i’m not.
i need to simmer down a little bit. but i can’t just yet because tomorrow
Nokia is having an event that i really want to photograph. i love Nokia!!!

anyway. i will be putting up some awesome photos i shot from the
lupe fiasco show i saw last week at S.O.B’s…it was truly awesome.

i really want to blog. like seriously. haha.
i don’t know why exactly, but i know that
i do. so let’s recap this past week/end…

- thursday: i hosted unstoppable perfect at
happy ending and it was great. i started a
new series of photos titled “i wear my sun-
glasses at nite” — wicked fun.

- friday: photographed an event at Marquee
called Envirolution. An awesome organization
with great insight and the appeal of a younger
generation. I also got car sick in a cab..and was
unable to attend the birthday party of a close
friend.

- saturday: hung out with the twins and two oddballs
from harvard. went to a random houseparty and on
the way back got racial slurs tossed at me by a
homeless man on the train. too bad i didn’t toss a
sandwich at him..im sure his stomach was empty..

- sunday: my mom and brother came down for mother’s
day and we ate korean food, cream puffs and saw iron man.

I never thought I would need to blog, but man oh man
I see some crazy things on my ventures in this city (New York).
Get ready for some wild tales and even wilder photos.
