TOPSHOP set to open in Manhattan

Sorry we haven’t been updating recently, I have had midterms and track meets while Antwan has been busy taking photos in Texas and stuff. However it seems as though the other blogs have been neglecting on updating their stuff as well so I guess we are not too much out of line…anyways..

The British clothing store is set to make its debut in Manhattan later this week on April 2nd. Topshop includes designers such as Kate Moss and Stella Vine and Kate Moss will attend the opening of the new store in the SoHo district (478 Broadway). It has been promised to open up in NYC a couple of times before, but this is the real deal it seems…

“I saw Andrea Mitchell tonight talking about who President Obama will turn to for help in dealing with the financial crisis. The first two names were at the top of the list of people who gave us the financial crisis: Robert Rubin and Larry Summers. This would be a bit like turning to Osama Bin Laden for aid in the war on terrorism.

Rubin and Summers were both major advocates of the one-sided deregulation of the financial industry under which we maintained the security blanket of “too big to fail” for the Wall Street big boys, but gave them the green light to take whatever risks they wanted in order to enrich themselves. It would be difficult to imagine that President Obama would embrace people with such a dismal track record.” Dean Baker
